I first heard about Adam Kay’s This is Going to Hurt: Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor in The Russell Howard Hour and was immediately interested. The whole interview with Adam Kay seemed unbelievable – are there really people that say that doctors want bigger pay and better hours because they are greedy? As it turns out – yes, there are such people. And this is more of a rant about those people than a review. 

Stephen Chbosky – The Perks of Being a Walflower

Stephen Chbosky is an American novelist and screenplay writer, who is best known for his book The Perks of Being a Wallflower and screenplays for Rent (film) and Jericho (TV series). The Perks of Being a Walflower were published in 1999 and since then have been turned into a film starring Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller and received a lot of love from fans.

Cathryn Constable – The Wolf Princess

Cathryn Constable was so impressed with a book she received for Christmas that it changed her whole life and started her fascination with Russia. Her debut novel The Wolf Princess came out in 2012, but a new book titled The White Tower will be coming out in January 2017 and although I don’t really know what it’s about, I have a guess that everything happens in Russia.
